About The Position
Adjunct Job Announcement Position: Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructor Location: Athens Campus Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety Reports to: Program Chair for Surgical Technology and Divisional Academic Dean Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits. Deadline to Apply: November 5, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Responsibilities: Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for specified courses. Evaluates students' progress in attaining goals and objectives. Prepares and maintains all required documentation for administrative report. Displays a high level of efforts and commitment to performing work. Operates effectively within the organizational structure. Assist with recruitment and retention. Manage all aspects of the classroom and laboratory. Daily operations, maintain safety equipment and inventory. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate's degree.
- Two (2) years of related work experience.
- Must be a National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certified.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience teaching at a postsecondary level.
