About The Position
The Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Studies Department of Molloy University seeks faculty members to teach College or General Physics (lecture and laboratory). The successful candidate should have a minimum of a Master's degree in Physics or an appropriate related field, and have evening availability. Candidates with previous college teaching experience desired. The adjunct faculty members are responsible for: preparing and delivering face to face instruction to undergraduate students in cooperation with the department's Chairperson and other faculty. using a range of suitable strategies to foster student learning and encourage active learning in all students; maintaining proper class-related records; promptly assessing student's coursework and apprising students of progress; meeting with students before or after class to attend to their course related questions. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to relate well to a diverse population of learners
Requirements
