Adjunct Instructor, Philosophy
About The Position
Oregon Tech is accepting applications for Philosophy undergraduate Adjunct Instructors for the Humanities and Social Sciences ( HSS ) Department. The Humanities and Social Sciences Department is recruiting a pool of adjunct instructors for possible part-time teaching positions to support the department’s General Education courses and minor in Arts, Literature, and Philosophy. Specifically, the department seeks adjunct instructors to teach HUM125: Technology, Society, and Values; PHIL331: Ethics in the Professions, and PHIL342: Business Ethics, among others. Teaching Modality: Appointments may include courses offered on-line, in person on campus, or in an alternative format responsive to state and local requirements. Location: The primary campus locations include the Klamath Falls campus, the Portland-Metro campus (located in Wilsonville, OR), and online. Teaching may be conducted remotely/online, within the United States. Interested candidates should apply online and submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of three references with contact information. In your cover letter, please specify those areas or courses that you are qualified to offer and would be interested in teaching. This pool will be accessed only when an opening or need arises. Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but no more than two years. After two years, if you are still interested, you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool.
