About The Position

Carroll University seeks to hire an Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics/Computational Science. The position involves teaching CMP 114 | Computational Thinking II - Statistical Analysis Emphasis, which focuses on developing computational skills with a heavy emphasis on statistics. The course covers statistical analyses including 1-way and 2-way ANOVA, multiple regression, and chi-square tests, along with discussions on experimental design issues. Analyses will be conducted using a spreadsheet and/or statistical software, with some scripting included. The course is offered in two sections: Section A on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m., and Section B on Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:35 p.m. The term for this position is Spring 2026, running from January 20 to May 6.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Official transcripts due upon hire.
