About The Position

The Adjunct Instructor of English will teach our Dual Enrollment ENG 101 and ENG 201 courses at selected local (Knoxville-Morristown area) high schools. As an intentionally Christian academic community, Christian employees are hired to advance the mission of Carson-Newman as expressed in our strategic plan, Acorns to Oaks.

Requirements

• Must have at least an MA in English
• Teaching experience is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
• Advanced organizational skills
• Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with all stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Teaches Dual Enrollment classes (ENG 101 and ENG 201) at local high school campuses.
