The Adjunct Instructor of Business position includes teaching courses in Health Care Administration-HCA, Human Resource Management-HRM, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, and Entrepreneurship. This role reports to the Dean of the Business Division and is responsible for providing a substantial business emphasis in the curriculum. The instructor will engage in scholarly activities, collaborate with faculty and staff, and support the mission and values of Warner Pacific University.

  • Teach assigned courses in Health Care Administration-HCA, Human Resources Management-HRM, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, and Entrepreneurship.
  • Articulate and model current best practices in teaching.
  • Advise and mentor students.
  • Work collegially with faculty, staff, and students.
  • Engage in scholarly activity in the relevant field.
  • Collaborate with articulated programs.
  • Participate in ongoing program development and evaluation.
  • Understand and promote the mission, values, and core themes of Warner Pacific University.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills in all interactions.
  • Support and contribute to the implementation of the strategic plan of the college.
  • Continue professional growth through participation in professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to university policies and procedures.

  • Masters of Science in Health Care Administration-HCA, Human Resources Management-HRM, Finance, Accounting, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship or a related area.
  • College teaching experience in relevant curriculum.
  • A successful professional record in business settings.
  • Strong knowledge of current practices in the field.
  • Professional experience in the field.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
