About The Position

The adjunct instructor will deliver instruction in the area of management for undergraduate students enrolled in online and/or hybrid courses offered through the College of Professional Studies at the Carson-Newman Nashville Center. The position requires a significant amount of contact with students. The employee must be outgoing, friendly, and work well in a variety of situations. Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive student matters.

Requirements

• A master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in management or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year teaching experience preferred.
• Significant ability to utilize Canvas and MS Office

Nice To Haves

• Terminal degree in business or related field preferred.

• Provide constructive, timely and encouraging feedback for students as they progress

• Compile and remit programmatic assessment data as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
