About The Position
This is a part-time Adjunct teaching position in the Department of Natural Sciences.
Requirements
- Applicants should have a Master's degree or a PhD in a biological science.
- Applicants should have a strong commitment to teaching at a liberal arts school.
- Evidence of successful teaching at the college level is required.
- The candidate must be prepared to affirm and support the Christian and liberal arts mission of Bethune- Cookman University.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (Canvas, Blackboard, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- Preferred candidates for the position must hold a Master's degree or a Ph.D. degree in a biological science. While all areas are considered, desired areas include anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and plant biology.
Responsibilities
- Successful candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate level.
