About The Position

Dodge City Community College is seeking qualified individuals to teach college-level courses in various subjects including Math and Sciences. The position offers an opportunity to engage in a variety of learning support and instructional practices, mentoring students, and implementing assessment measures to achieve course, program, and college learning outcomes. The subjects of interest include Developmental Algebra, Statistics, Trigonometry/Precalculus, Calculus, Biological and Allied/Health Nursing, Chemistry through Organic, Physical Sciences, and Physics (both calculus-based and non-calculus-based).

Requirements

• Masters Degree with a Major in area of study that is to be taught OR Masters Degree with an additional 18 graduate hours in the area of study to be taught.
• Technical Education Instructors need equivalent education, related work experience, and demonstrated competencies in the discipline.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with groups, organizations, and institutions.
• Computer skills and ability to use technology in the classroom.
