Union University seeks a qualified individual for the position of Adjunct Instructor in Music - Strings (Violin and Viola). This position involves teaching applied violin and viola, ensemble coaching, string techniques, and string pedagogy. The candidate must have the ability to teach Musicianship/Aural Skills and String Improvisational Techniques in a variety of styles. The courses include MUS 150, 250, 350, and 450 Applied Lessons for Freshman to Senior levels, as well as String Chamber Ensemble and Strings Methods courses. The instructor will also provide direction and supervision for student chamber groups and perform in Faculty and University ensembles as directed.
