About The Position

Dodge City Community College is seeking qualified individuals to teach college-level courses in various subjects including English (Composition, Literature), ESL (English as a Second Language), Philosophy, and Speech/Communications. The Instructor will engage in a variety of learning support and instructional practices, mentoring students, and implementing assessment measures to achieve course, program, and college learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Masters Degree with a Major in area of study that is to be taught OR Masters Degree with an additional 18 graduate hours in the area of study to be taught.
• Technical Education Instructors need equivalent education, related work experience, demonstrated competencies in the discipline, and achievements that contribute to effective teaching and student learning outcomes.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with groups, organizations, and institution.
• Computer skills and ability to use technology in the classroom.
