About The Position

Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. Develops discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation, and college activities. Maintains college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan. Work schedule varies according to teaching assignment. PLEASE NOTE: This is an open continuous applicant pool. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview or employment. Positions will be filled by the department on an as needed basis. Requirements

  • GEY 2000 Master’s degree in Gerontology or Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Gerontology.
  • HUS 1203, 1620, 1640 Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology Education, or related field or Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field and extensive experience working with youth in either a community or school-based program.
  • HUS 1001, 1200, 1302, 2308, 1850C, 2851C Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field or Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Social Work, Psychology, or related field and Licensed Florida mental health professional (e.g., mental health counselor, marriage and family counselor, social worker).
  • HUS 1421, 1423, 1440, 1450, 1424 Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field or Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Social Work, Psychology, or related field and Licensed Florida mental health professional (e.g., mental health counselor, marriage and family counselor, social worker) with experience in the addictions field or Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) Certification.
