About The Position

The Adjunct Instructor for History/Law, Technology, and Culture will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in legal history or legal studies. This role involves developing and delivering lectures, organizing in-class activities relevant to the course material, and preparing and grading assignments and exams to assess student achievement. The instructor will effectively utilize Canvas, NJIT's online course management system, maintain regular weekly office hours, and submit syllabi, final grades, and other requested information in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or comparable terminal degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted at the university's discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior university teaching experience.
  • Evidence of effective teaching.
