About The Position

The Department of Ecosystem Science and Sustainability is accepting applications from individuals who are interested in securing temporary instructor positions within the ESS Department. Instructors may teach in person or online courses in areas of their expertise and are hired periodically for fall, spring, and/or summer term, contingent upon enrollment. Requirements

  • Master's degree in relevant field or a combination of bachelor's degree and certification in a field directly related to teaching assignments.
  • Teaching experience in a course related to Ecosystem Science, Sustainability, and/or Water Resource Management.

Nice To Haves

  • Expertise, experience, and knowledge of the course content.
  • Professional experience in a field related to Ecosystem Science, Sustainability, and/or Water Resource Management.
  • Experience, proficiency, or capacity to use technology tools and learning management systems.
  • Strong written communication skills for conveying complex ideas to students.
