About The Position

The Department of Dental Hygiene at Farmingdale State College is seeking part-time adjunct positions. The position includes clinical faculty responsibilities and/or laboratory and clinical radiology responsibilities. Requirements

• Candidates must hold a current license to practice Dental Hygiene in NYS
• Current certification in local infiltration anesthesia/nitrous oxide analgesia
• Significant progress towards obtaining a master's degree in dental hygiene or a related discipline (must be completed within two years of hire)
• Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers
• Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• Minimum of five years clinical practice experience
• Current membership in the American Dental Hygienists' Association

Nice To Haves

• Previous clinical or didactic teaching experience in dental hygiene
• Previous laboratory or didactic teaching in radiology
