The University of the District of Columbia is a public land grant institution of higher learning dedicated to providing quality, career focused undergraduate and graduate programs that prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and credentials needed to launch, enhance, or change careers. Incumbents must teach all assigned classes and hours as determined by semester course schedule; Incumbents will be required to prepare and deliver relevant curriculum to students in the, using a variety of teaching methods to include, but not limited to, lecture, class discussion, demonstration labs, and projects. The University of the District of Columbia – Division of Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning (UDC-WDLL), a branch campus of the University of the District of Columbia (UDC), is seeking enthusiastic and qualified morning part-time instructors interested in teaching courses in one or more of the following areas: 1) general construction 2) electrical 3) carpentry 4) plumbing 5) HVAC 6) building information modeling 7) blueprint reading 8) construction mathematics 9) apartment maintenance.
