About The Position
Adjunct Professor - Computer Science Department: School of Computing and Data Science Location: Wentworth Institute of Technology Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking adjunct professors to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Science. Position Summary: Adjunct professors are responsible for delivering course materials in a learner-centered environment, engaging students in the learning process, and supporting their academic success. Responsibilities include developing and teaching a range of courses, from introductory undergraduate classes to advanced graduate-level courses in Computer Science.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Teaching experience in a relevant subject area.
Nice To Haves
- PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience teaching diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with online and remote teaching tools.
Responsibilities
- Prepare syllabi and develop curricula to meet course requirements and student learning outcomes.
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on assignments and exams.
- Submit midterm and final grades, attendance records, and other required reports.
- Communicate consistently with students, faculty, and administrators.
