About The Position

The Division of Communication, Composition and Rhetoric at Methodist University is looking for qualified adjunct faculty to teach in our first-year writing program . As an adjunct instructor, you can teach up to three courses per semester and would be responsible for developing and delivering course content, grading assignments, and providing feedback to students. Requirements

  • Education: A PhD or Master’s degree in English, preferably with a Composition and Rhetoric/ Writing Studies emphasis.
  • Experience: At least one semester teaching first-year writing at an accredited university, with evidence of high-quality teaching.
