About The Position

The Department of Communications at Molloy University invites applications to teach 1-2 courses in their New Media track, starting Fall 2026. Requirements

• Master’s degree, PhD, or other terminal degree in Communication, Digital Humanities, or other closely related field
• A history of at least two years of successful teaching experience at the college level or equivalent.
• Proficiency in social media content creation and/or digital content creation more generally.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering face to face instruction to undergraduate students in cooperation with the department’s Chairperson and other faculty
• Using a range of suitable strategies to foster student learning and encourage active learning in all students
• Promptly assessing student’s coursework and appraising students of progress
• Meeting with students before or after class if they need to in order to attend to their course related questions.
