About The Position

Instruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. Develops discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation, and college activities. Maintains college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan. Varies.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Construction Management or related discipline and two years of related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in construction management or a related discipline and three years of related industry experience.
  • Associates degree in Construction Management or a related discipline and four years of related experience.
  • Experience in residential and commercial materials and methods.
  • Experience with technical drawings and software.
  • Knowledge of building codes and ordinances.
  • Experience with LEED and the Green Building Initiative.
  • Experience in construction surveying methods.
  • Experience in construction estimating with residential and commercial takeoffs.
  • Knowledge of scheduling and planning methods.
  • Knowledge of various industry software applications.
  • Experience with OSHA procedures and site safety practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge about the building construction industry.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry software.
  • General Contractors License.
  • Professional registry such as engineering or architecture.
  • Experience in online teaching.
  • Experience in curriculum development.
