About The Position

The Biology Department invites applications from instructors interested in teaching introductory cell biology (including lab) and a microbiology lecture in a face-to-face format. Responsibilities: Instructors would be responsible for planning, implementing, and grading formative and summative assessments in lecture and lab. They will also be expected to work with other instructors to ensure alignment between different sections of a course. All courses are managed through an online LMS (Canvas) and instructors are expected to maintain an updated course site throughout the semester.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a master's degree or ABD in biology or a closely related field; a PhD is preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without Employer Sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • PhD is preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching at the college level is highly preferred.
