About The Position

Candidates should be passionate educators and practitioners who can facilitate the needs of diverse 21st century learners who aspire to practice in respective field. Requirements

• Master's degree in American Sign Language or Education for the Hearing Impaired with fluency in the use of American Sign Language
• Master’s Degree and 18 graduate credit hours in American Sign Language or Education for the Hearing Impaired with fluency in the use of American Sign Language
• Bachelor’s degree in American Sign Language, Sign Language Interpreting, or Education of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing with fluency in the use of American Sign Language plus National Certification in Sign Language Interpreting
• American Sign Language Teachers Association (ASLTA) Certification and demonstrated competency in teaching
• Prior college teaching experience is preferred
• High level of computer literacy
• Commitment to teaching
