About The Position

The College of Business is seeking a part-time adjunct instructor to teach in-person Accounting courses for the Spring 2026 semester. The salary is determined in accordance with the University's compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates' education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Accounting.
• Prior teaching experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to use virtual technology and related software to support online teaching.

Nice To Haves

• Doctorate degree in Accounting
• CPA/CMA certification
• One year prior teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teaches up to two courses per semester.
• Maintains accurate records, posts grades (mid-term and final), and submits attendance reporting as required.
• Posts and maintains office hours.
• Other duties as assigned by department head.
