About The Position
The Department of Global Humanities at the College of St. Scholastica invites applications for one or more adjunct faculty members to teach online courses in Health/Medical Humanities. Relevant areas of expertise include history of medicine, philosophy and bioethics, and literature. Candidates should have a PhD in history, philosophy, or literature, with demonstrated experience in online teaching, curriculum development, and instructional design. Responsibilities include ensuring course objectives, assignments, and assessments align with learning outcomes, incorporating best practices in instructional design to create engaging and learner-centered curricula for online delivery, and integrating principles of social justice, equity, and cultural competence into curriculum development to reflect the diverse needs of learners.
