About The Position

The University of Tulsa seeks Adjunct Professors to join the Oxley College of Health and Natural Sciences for Spring 2024 with the ability to teach lecture courses in our undergraduate programs for the following content areas: Human Physiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, and Organismal and Evolutionary Biology. As an Oxley College of Health and Natural Sciences Adjunct Professor (in the Department of Biological Science), you will utilize a course syllabus for each course and follow established departmental, collegial, and institutional guidelines. You will provide timely, quality access and feedback to students via personal consultation, electronic communication, and other appropriate methods. Additionally, you will evaluate students by established means to measure their progress in achieving course objectives and inform them in a timely manner. Maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community is essential, as is submitting paperwork and forms in a timely fashion.

Requirements

• A M.S. degree in biological science
• 1+ years of teaching experience

Nice To Haves

• A doctoral degree in biological science
• 1+ years of collegiate teaching experience in one or more of the specific content areas (human physiology, cell and molecular biology, organismal and evolutionary biology)
