About The Position

Seeking a temporary instructor for the MSW program 2026 Spring Term. The Adjunct Faculty member in Social Work is responsible for providing high-quality instruction that supports the academic, professional, and ethical development of students in alignment with program objectives and accreditation standards. This role involves teaching assigned undergraduate and/or graduate social work courses, fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment, and contributing to the mission of the Social Work program.

Responsibilities

Preparing and delivering course content
Developing and maintaining syllabi consistent with departmental guidelines and CSWE competencies
Facilitating classroom (in person) instruction
Assessing student learning through assignments, exams, and other evaluative methods
Providing timely and constructive feedback
Maintaining accurate academic records
Upholding university policies related to grading, attendance, and academic integrity
Holding regular office hours or be accessible to students
Supporting student learning and professional development
Communicating effectively with program leadership
Participating in course coordination, curriculum updates, assessment activities, and meetings as needed
Performing all duties in accordance with institutional policies, ethical standards of the social work profession, and best practices in teaching and learning
