About The Position

The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology is hiring for open adjunct faculty positions in our Master's Level Counseling Psychology degree programs for the 2024-2025 academic year. We currently have no adjunct positions open for the Master's Level Theology & Culture degree program. We are building a creative community that is robustly Christian, deeply questioning, and profoundly human. The ideal candidates will be committed to the interdisciplinary dialogue between theology and psychology, as well as intercultural engagement.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree required, Ph.D. preferred.
  • Experience teaching or facilitating classes and seminars required, online teaching experience preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • A commitment to collaborate with faculty, instructional team, and students.
  • Ability to incorporate the school's Christian, integrative, and intercultural distinctives into teaching and service.
  • Familiarity and appreciation for the mission and values of The Seattle School.

Responsibilities

  • Support student learning through strong course design, active learning pedagogy, assessment of student work, and alignment of course and program learning outcomes.
  • Support student learning and development by providing advising opportunities for students in current courses and providing vocational advising as needed.
