About The Position

Eastern Florida State College is compiling a database of qualified candidates for part-time teaching opportunities across all its campuses. Applications for part-time faculty are accepted on an ongoing basis, and submitted applications will be considered for teaching opportunities on all of EFSC's campuses. The college is currently in need of part-time Adjunct Instructors for the current Academic School Year in various disciplines, including Continuing Education Contract Training Workforce Programs and the Intensive English Program.

Requirements

• Master's degree from a regionally-accredited institution with a major in the discipline to be taught (most adjunct faculty positions).
• For Baccalaureate or University-Parallel Programs: Master's degree with a major in the primary teaching area OR Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the primary teaching area.
• For Technical Programs: Master's degree with specialization in primary teaching area, or Bachelor's degree with specialization in primary teaching area and 3 years of relevant employment experience, or AA/AS degree with specialization in primary teaching area and 6 years of relevant employment experience.
• For Vocational Programs: Master's degree with specialization in primary teaching area, or Bachelor's degree with specialization in primary teaching area and 3 years of relevant employment experience, or AA/AS degree with specialization in primary teaching area and 6 years of relevant employment experience, or High School diploma with relevant licenses or certifications and 6 years of relevant employment experience.
• For Continuing Education Programs: Appropriate degree, experience, or demonstrated expertise in teaching area.
• Successful fingerprinting and payment of associated fee ($36.00).
• Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator's license required within 30 days of hire.
