The Visual Arts Department seeks a Fine Art Studio Technician to manage and maintain the Wood, Metal, and Fiber Studios, Printmaking Studio, Painting Studios, and other shared art-making spaces within the Visual Arts Department facilities. Responsibilities include: performing routine maintenance and repair of equipment, tools, and facilities; train students and monitors on safe usage of tools and technical aspects of fabrication; organize storage of tools and materials, oversee check out of tools; oversee monitor schedule and responsibilities; monitor all Fine Art Building studios; maintain orderly and clean facilities; maintain safe storage and proper documentation of hazardous materials; source, order and manage delivery of equipment, supplies and materials and maintain stock levels.
