About The Position

The Surveying Engineering Technology Department at Rowan University invites applications for an adjunct faculty position to teach courses at the undergraduate level. We seek an energetic innovative teacher, committed to excellence in engineering education to join our dedicated family of faculty members. Applicants with expertise in all fundamental areas of surveying engineering are invited to apply. Courses may include, but not limited to Boundary and Topographic Surveying, Photogrammetry, Geodesy, Least Squares Adjustment and Analysis, Mapping from Unmanned Aerial Systems, Terrestrial Laser Scanning Technology, and Senior Capstone courses.

Requirements

  • Master of Science degree in Surveying Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of five years of industrial experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with multi-disciplinary student and faculty teams
  • Ability to teach in a project-based setting

Nice To Haves

  • Professional license in surveying
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in the field

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in Surveying Engineering Technology
  • Develop course materials and curriculum
