The School of Professional Studies is seeking an adjunct instructor to develop and teach the new course Supply Chain Management & Sustainability for the Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences. The course will be offered in an online, synchronous, semester-based format geared toward part-time, adult undergraduate students. The course will introduce the foundational concepts and practical considerations of Supply Chain Management and Sustainability within the biopharmaceutical and biomanufacturing sectors. Students will focus on the critical challenges of maintaining product integrity, ensuring GMP and regulatory compliance, and integrating ethical and sustainable practices across the entire supply chain, from sourcing to patient delivery. The content is delivered through online learning tools, including virtual case studies, simulations, and video demonstrations of industry best practices. The instructor will add their subject matter expertise and real-world examples, partnering with MCPHS leaders to ensure content is relevant to employers. As part of the course development process, the instructor will partner with a project manager and instructional design manager. The instructor will play an important role in the continuous improvement and overall success of the course. This role is crucial in establishing the foundation of the Bachelor of Science program, directly impacting its quality and future success. The instructor will help shape the learning experience for our students and will contribute to the growth of this exciting new academic offering.
