About The Position

William Paterson University invites applications for adjunct faculty in the Speech-Language Pathology within the College of Science and Health. Please note that there may not be a vacancy at this time. Rather, qualified applicants may be contacted if and when there is an immediate need, or on an exploratory basis for a future opening. The courses in this department generally taught by adjunct faculty include, but are not limited to: Diagnostic Practice, Clinical Practicum. The Speech-Language Pathology department offers both bachelors and master's degrees in Speech-Language Pathology. The undergraduate program is committed to providing students with the fundamental knowledge of typical and atypical communication processes sufficient for entry into graduate programs. The graduate program, which is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), prepares students for careers in speech-language pathology so that they can provide competent and evidence-based service to individuals with communication disorders across the lifespan. The department also fosters intellectual curiosity, creative problem-solving, and clinical reasoning.
