Requirements

• BSN required, MSN preferred
• 5+ years nursing experience
• Valid NYS Nursing License

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and evaluate classes (labs) and clinical experiences for nursing students based on a curriculum plan with outcomes and objectives.
• Possess specialized professional knowledge in area of expertise as designated by teaching assignment. General knowledge in nursing practice required.
• Analyze, develop, implement, evaluate and revise classes, clinical experiences and curricula.
• Model and support patient/client advocacy, respect and confidentiality during all patient/client interactions.
• Organize, review, and select standard procedures for problem-solving. Creative problem solving and high level of autonomy required.
• Organize and prioritize activities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Support the implementation of the curricular and department goals.
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge, teaching ability, and effective communication skills.
