About The Position

The School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics at St. Thomas Aquinas College seeks adjunct faculty members to teach various courses for the Fall 2024 semester. The positions available include teaching General Biology Lecture and Laboratory courses, General Chemistry Laboratory courses, and Computer Science courses such as Software Engineering, Networks and System Security. All courses will meet on our campus in Rockland County, New York, and there are no plans to offer these courses remotely, except for Computer Science where online/hybrid options may be considered.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience teaching at the college level is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. in relevant field
  • Experience with online or hybrid teaching methods

Responsibilities

  • Teach General Biology Lecture and Laboratory courses
