About The Position
The Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William & Mary is seeking to build a pool of adjunct faculty members to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting. This position is vital to the educational mission of the school, which aims to provide high-quality educational programs and contribute to the creation and dissemination of new knowledge. Adjunct faculty will be integral to the academic community, engaging with students and faculty alike while promoting the values of William & Mary. In this role, adjunct faculty will be responsible for preparing course materials, including syllabi, and coordinating with the Department Chair and other faculty members to ensure a cohesive learning experience. They will be expected to promote inclusive excellence and uphold academic integrity while supporting student learning through the university's learning management system. Timely communication with students and faculty is essential, as is the provision of constructive feedback on assignments and assessments. Adjunct faculty will also be required to maintain office hours for student consultations and adhere to all academic policies and guidelines set forth by the university.
