About The Position

The Physics Department at the University of St. Thomas is seeking adjunct instructors for upcoming fall and spring semesters in the 2026-2027 academic year. The teaching load typically involves one to two courses per semester, contingent on departmental needs and student enrollments. Potential course assignments include Algebra and Calculus-based Classical Physics, which are offered with an integrated lecture/lab format in a two-period block, three days a week, and count as a two-course load. Class sizes are capped at 36 students. All courses are expected to be taught in-person. Benefits

  • Salary range for College of Arts and Sciences Adjunct positions from $5,994 to $6,717 (per 4 credit undergraduate course, 3 credit graduate course)
