About The Position

USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app Adjunct Faculty to teach required lessons to music ed majors in their instrument of choice. Requirements

  • Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience: Master's Degree
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in instrument of specialty.
  • Ability to work well with students.
  • Ability to work with multiple schedules.

Nice To Haves

  • 3-5 years prior teaching experience at the University level or in a private studio.
  • Master’s degree (minimum) in instrument of specialty, in pedagogy, performance or Music Ed.
  • Some professional performance experience.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange one on one meetings with students to practice and refine skills.
  • Help students work on areas that need improvement.
  • Encourage students to challenge themselves.
  • Foster a healthy and supportive learning environment.
  • Identify when students need additional support.
