About The Position

Grand Canyon University is Arizona’s premier private Christian university. The Colangelo College of Business offers rewarding opportunities for adjunct faculty to teach for our online campus. Course: Club Management This course examines the unique elements required for successful private club operations, including governance, membership marketing, member services, recreational and sports activities, club facilities management, and financial performance. Students will gain hands-on experience creating club marketing campaigns, developing member events, and conducting club performance assessments.

Requirements

  • Masters in Business Administration or Masters in Hospitality Management or Masters in Recreation and Tourism Management AND 5 years hospitality management or club management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
  • Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
  • Respond to students’ questions and emails within the established timeframes
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University
