About The Position

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's Worldwide campus is currently hiring adjunct faculty to teach AVMG 607 – Airport Funding & Revenue Management. Course Description Financial acumen is vital in managing airport operations. In this course, students will be introduced to traditional infrastructure funding mechanisms, public-private partnerships, and the exploration of diverse revenue streams—from retail leasing, land leases, fence agreements to airline fees. The course also delves into financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategies for revenue optimization. Please note that ERAU policy requires that all adjuncts be physically located within the United States while working for the University, including during training. Presently, we are able to support work for new adjuncts from all U.S. states except California. ERAU does not support work from international locations with some limited exceptions for individuals who are residing and working from U.S. military bases. Requirements

  • Terminal Degree From List and Relevant Experience/Industry Credential (basic self-report documentation required)
  • Graduate Degree from List and Relevant Experience/Industry Credential (detailed and verifiable documentation required and Program Coordinator approval)
  • 5 Years (or more) Airport Management/Leadership Experience, 3 Years (or more) Airport Management/Leadership Experience AND one of the below: Airport Management/Leadership Industry Certificate (IATA, AEEE, ACI) OR Industry Recognized Revenue Management Certificate
  • Degrees Within the Teaching Discipline: Any Business Degree Management Leadership/Organizational Behavior Aviation/Aerospace/Aeronautical Science Operations Management Public Administration
