About The Position

The Department of English and Foreign Language offers programs leading to a
Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Secondary
Education Endorsement, and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Creative Writing
Concentration. The Department also offers courses in French, Spanish, and Public
Speaking as part of the general education requirement.

Requirements

• MS or Ph.D. in English and/or Foreign Language
• Record of/or potential for commitment to student centered teaching that fosters an engaging learning environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching English or Foreign Language courses in higher education.
• Experience teaching College English I and II, Professional/Technical Writing, Public Speaking and/or Elementary Spanish I and II.
• Experience with online learning management systems (Blackboard Ultra or similar).
