Position Title: Adjunct Faculty, Nursing Department: JM - Biological & Health Sciences Operations Department Position Type: Faculty Job Family: Part-Time Faculty Job Summary: Teach lab (clinic) portion of Nursing class. Observe safety and liability limitation protocols. Observe medical confidentiality or related protocols. Prepare for classes and grade student work. The instructor will be responsible for creating and distributing a course syllabus, teaching all scheduled classes, and responding to and evaluating student work. Posting Date: 07/31/2025 Expected Start Date: 08/04/2025 Compensation Grade: Full-Time/Part-Time: Part time Location: Grayslake Campus Total Hours Per Week: 25 Job Description: Required Qualifications: Master's Degree with a major in Nursing. Licensed to practice in state of Illinois and at least two (2) years of tested clinical experience. Desired Qualifications: Prior college teaching experience. Demonstrated professional learning or certification in evidence-based student-focused pedagogical teaching and assessment practice such as ACUE, workshops and data use Bilingual in Spanish and English. Per Load Hour Compensation Schedule 2025 -2026 - $1,373 2026 -2027 - $1,414 This posting will be used to obtain a pool of qualified candidates. As teaching needs arise, applications will be reviewed for possible interviews. The number of adjunct faculty hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department.
