About The Position

The Mathematics Department at New York Institute of Technology anticipates openings for part-time (adjunct) instructors for the Fall 2025 semester at the Long Island Campus. We expect that the new faculty hires will be assigned courses in Pre-Calculus and Calculus.

Requirements

• Minimum Master’s degree in Mathematics.
• Prior experience teaching college-level Pre-Calculus and Calculus courses.
• Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Blackboard or Canvas.

Responsibilities

• Teach Pre-Calculus and Calculus courses at the Long Island Campus.
• Utilize Cengage WebAssign online homework for course assignments.
• Participate in orientation sessions before the start of the semester.
