Adjunct Faculty, Mathematics and Statistics
About The Position
Fairfield University's College of Arts and Sciences is soliciting applications from qualified candidates holding Master's or Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields to teach in the Department of Mathematics. Courses taught by adjuncts or visiting instructors are typically for students at the beginning undergraduate level. Instructors are mainly needed to teach Precalculus, Calculus, Applied Calculus, Elementary Probability and Statistics, and Statistics. Classes will preferably be taught during the day and in person, but a few sections are offered in the evenings or online. Sophomore level course such as Multivariable Calculus and Differential Equations may also be available to teach. Performs such other duties, responsibilities, and activities as required by supervisor and as departmental/University needs indicate.
Requirements
- A Master's degree or higher is required in Mathematics or a related field.
