Adjunct Faculty positions are part-time positions hired each semester on an as-needed basis. The adjunct faculty member will be responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided by the college. Major Responsibilities: â Deliver non-credit Industrial Sewing classes as assigned. â Instruct classes as assigned at worksite and/or campus locations within programming designed to meet specific company training and production objectives. â Teaching load is dictated by project, or projects, not by credit hour production. â Work a flexible schedule as dictated by client company training demand. â Maintain records on student attendance, progress, and skills mastery. â Develop or adapt instructional materials as necessary for the effective delivery of curriculum. â Assist in the identification of facility, equipment, and materials needs in the classroom. â Participate in training and professional development as needed. â The above list of duties is not to be construed as an exhaustive list.
