About The Position

The College of Business and Health Administration is a team of exceptional, experienced professionals dedicated to providing a rigorous academic curriculum in a supportive compassionate learning environment. Today we are specifically looking for instructors excited to teach in person on location in our various international programs (currently in the Czech Republic and Vietnam) in a variety of bachelors and masters courses including management, finance, economics, marketing, supply chain, among others.

Requirements

• Master's degree in field or equivalent professional experience
• Evidence of strength in instructional methodology, delivery, and techniques
• A willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the University
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
• Ability and willingness to travel to international locations and deliver on-site courses according to the required schedule
• Demonstrated experience working with individuals, ideally students, from other cultures and different backgrounds

Nice To Haves

• Ph.D./DBA/JD or other terminal doctoral degree in a variety of areas including management, marketing, business administration, finance, supply chain/logistics, international business, etc.
• Five (5) years' teaching experience
• Previous face-to-face teaching experience
• Previous online teaching experience
• Previous experience with traveling and teaching in international locations
• Experience with Canvas Learning Management System

Responsibilities

• Uphold and fulfill the mission and philosophy of the College of Business and Health Administration (COBHA)
• Participate in and promote a culture of continuing quality improvement
• Teach in person and blended courses on-site in our international locations
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities and USF adjunct faculty training
• Teach all assigned courses and hours as determined by the course schedule
• Plan course instruction based upon approved curriculum, syllabus and learning outcomes
• Design, administer and grade course assignments, essays and exams to assess student achievement as well as overall achievement of course learning outcomes
• Follow the outlined travel and expense policies and procedures
• Attend and/or participate in additional events while on location
