The Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt is comprised of three Conservatories: Music, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Theatre. Our faculty and staff maintain successful professional careers in their chosen fields alongside their commitment to training and educating our students in preparation to enter performing arts industries. The Theatre Conservatory seeks an adjunct instructor for the following course: THAR 167-01 Intro to Improv. This course is an introduction to the art of improvisational performance through foundation building and ensemble exploration. This class meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30-10:45am (3 credit hours). Applications will be reviewed immediately with an expected start date for Fall 2025. Please note that this course will be offered pending 2025-2026 budget approval. The salary for this position aligns with the current RAFO tiers of $3982 for this 3-credit hour course.
