The Opportunity: Unity Environmental University seeks committed, student-centered adjunct faculty to teach introductory Psychology and Human Services coursework in Career Edge, our fully online, workforce-focused Applied Bachelor of Science programs. These programs serve working adult learners pursuing careers in human services, counseling support roles, advocacy, and community-based practice. Career Edge's curriculum integrates psychology, communication, data literacy, social-emotional skills, and sustainability principles to prepare graduates for applied helping professions. Adjunct faculty may be assigned to teach one or more of the following courses: Introduction to Psychology Introduction to Human Services Case Management and Helping Skills Additional opportunities may arise in human development, counseling basics, applied social psychology, or case-management micro-modules.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, Social Work, or closely related field.
- At least 2 years of teaching or professional experience in human services or behavioral science.
Nice To Haves
- Background in applied psychology, case management, or community behavioral health.
- Experience working with adult, first-generation, or low-income learners.
- Experience integrating experiential or reflective learning.
