The applicant will be responsible for teaching undergraduate coursework and associated instructional components in Physics. Courses support majors in Biology, Chemistry, Bioinformatics, and other STEM fields at Bowie State University. Courses may include: Principles of Physics (Algebra-based) General Physics (Calculus-based) Physics for Bioinformatics The faculty member will provide high-quality instruction, prepare course materials, assess student learning objectives, maintain safety standards in laboratory settings (when applicable), and ensure timely submission of grades and required documentation. The selected candidate is expected to demonstrate engaging and effective teaching strategies that promote student learning and success. Incorporation of innovative instructional methods, active learning, and inclusive teaching practices is strongly encouraged.
