About The Position

The Department of Computational, Engineering, and Mathematical Sciences is seeking applications for Full/Part-time adjunct instructor(s) to teach in-person courses for the B.S. degree program in Electronic Systems Engineering Technology (ESET).

Requirements

  • Earned Master's degree in Electrical, Communication, or Computer Engineering or closely related fields.
  • 18 graduate hours in these fields or closely related fields from a regionally accredited institution for teaching B.S. level courses.
  • Lecture and Laboratory teaching experience (teaching assistant experience will be accepted) or related industry experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Presentation skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with faculty and staff.
  • Ability to respond promptly to queries from students, faculty, and staff.

Nice To Haves

  • Working towards or has earned Ph.D. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or closely related fields from a regionally accredited institution for teaching B.S. level courses.
  • Experience and interest in teaching undergraduates in a college/university setting.
  • Broad training in ESET related fields and industry experience.
  • Interest in active and collaborative learning.
  • Instructional use of technology.
  • Experience with non-traditional commuter university setting.
