Adjunct Faculty in Chemistry
About The Position
The Department of Natural Sciences, in the College of Arts and Sciences, is seeking applications from qualified candidates for a part-time non-tenure track adjunct faculty position in Chemistry. We seek qualified instructors to teach face-to-face lecture and laboratory courses during the daytime hours in organic chemistry courses as well as general chemistry courses. This is for the spring semester with potential to teach in the fall and summer as well. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining a safe environment for instruction and learning in a laboratory setting. Salary: $3,000 per 3-credit course, $2,000 per 3-hour laboratory
Requirements
- Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution.
- Must have 18 graduate credit hours in related area.
Nice To Haves
- Completed Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field.
- Experience teaching at the college level.
- Experience working with all students from different backgrounds and settings.
